The Home Lands launch on Saturday, June 26, 6.30pm at Federation Square’s Atrium showcases the multimedia productions that have been created by young Karen people in both Melbourne and on the Thai/Burma border over the last six months.Home Lands launch at Federation Square 26 June 2010

Home Lands is a collaboration between La Trobe University, City of Melbourne, the Centre for Multicultural Youth, the Cultural Development Network and apc.au.

The project partners are proud to be launching the first public screening of Home Lands at Federation Square’s program for The Light in Winter.

Come to the Atrium to see Home Land participants perform and watch their work on the big screen!

    Hey,

    I just had a look at the website and it is is really awesome. Intersting little profiles from the feedback given by the young youth participants and the schedule is quite informative on the life of the KAren people. Interesting!
